Default SLP oil pump question...

What is the random plug in the box for? I see where it screws into but do I need to put the plug into the oil pump?

They normally come with a spring and plug already installed on the pump, and put a different pressure spring in the box for option of swapping it out.

Just an fyi in case You're not familiar with these oil pumps ,,,,,,,,,,,first there's what looks like a mini piston , then the spring which fits into the back of the mini piston , then the screw in plug ,,,,,,,,and make sure it's CLEAN when You assemble it with some assembly lube .

From what I can tell, the pump was assembled and ready to install. These are the extra parts. What appears to the be the High Pressure spring and the plug. The Green Spring and the other plug already installed. Are you talking about additional parts?
