First, it's time for a data log to pinpoint the issue[s], if any.
Next it's time for a tune....

you would have to have something like HP tuner, did you get a tune after you installed the cam? if not then you need to get a dyno tune done by a good tuner that has knowledge with these engines. also did you triple check to make sure the dots are lined up on the cam sprocket

If you have installed a cam, only, I would go for a mail-order tune. It's alot cheaper, and will put your air/fuel in the proper range.
Frost did mine, and there are a number of other reputable mail-tuners on this forum.

Slowhawk (a sponsor) is in MA, off of I-495.
Do you live in AL? That's quite a drive.
Besides, if you're having trouble with the engine right now, driving a distance is prob not recommended.
There are other dyno-tuners in the NEast, but I'm not familiar with them.
No one will lose your computer, if you do a mailorder tune.
Steve @ Frost (sponsor) will do a great job, and his customer service/followup made me very satisfied.
John @ Speartech (sponsor) is great, too.

gas from april of this year is still fine. hopefully the pushrods are the correct length for your cam and lifters and a valve isnt being held open.

Im curious, how does comp cams know what your correct pushrod length is suppose to be? Did they sneak into your garage or driveway and do a black ops mission with precision measuring tools on your engine?

Typically pushrod length would change with head gasket thickness change or head/block machining.
