How about a 224/230 .550/.550 115lsa? The lopey cam and blowers really don't mix

That is a misconception. The trick is to study your system well and use the right amount of overlap before bleeding would start impeding on the supercharger's job.
Overlap is always more power.

I'd be happy to grind a cam specific for your application. Give me a call or send me a PM giving me a little more information on your car and your goals and I can help make sure you get exactly what you need. We can definitely make sure you've got the sound you want in a great blower cam barring conflicting desires (I.E if you have an auto and want to keep the stock converter).

I guess I didn't really think of it that way....I always just tjought of it as losing boost through too much overlap.

That is the trick. When is too much? From my experience from 7 to 10 psi around 6* positive overlap is very manageable. Valve events of cam also can help by making cam less exhaust biased from TDC.
At a certain level depending on the rest of your motor setup, overlap starts to bleed too much intake and usually we compensate by adding more boost.

So, you mean the LS9 (or any other super high LSA cam) is not the "Holy Grail" of supercharged LS cam's? LOL

I know you have tried to set things straight about this over and over, glad to see that you haven't given up. This generalized misconception needs to die.

I've built/used a couple of supercharged setup for street, every time, results are the same just adding a bit of overlap will see an increase in power.

Makes sense....I need to take some time to write you a detailed pm and send it to you for your input

Also, another question....when people say "shoot for 9:1 compression for boost" what kind of dcr are they going for, or I guess, if you have a high 12:1 or so scr, but a huge cam which drops the dcr down to 8.2:1, can this setup tske boost just like the lower static compression smaller csm motor?
