Question possible oil pump probs

Every once in awhile my oil pressure gauge flickers a bit. It doesnt do it bad, just flickers up and down maybe 5 - 10 psi sometimes at idle. Off idle, it holds steady. Engine usually holds about 30 - 40 at idle and between 40 - 60 while cruising. I kinda cracked the plastic on my oil pressure sensor when i put my intake on, would that cause it? Or is my pump about to take a dump?

Your sensor is most likely the cause, especially if it is cracked. If you can wait for the TSP install then do both, else get another sensor for the peace of mind. One other way to tell is if you start getting oil seepage around the sensor. I think they run around $30 bucks or so.
