Default Lunati Valve Spring Question

Hey guys are the Lunati LS Dual Valve Spring kit ok to use as a stock replacement ? For the time being I am using a stock LS6 cam and dont know if its too much spring for it Seems most are happy with them with a cam but I see no feed back on a stock cam .

These are the ones I am talking about http://www.coloradospeed.com/index.p...ducts_id=13960

Hum, might be to much spring for a stock cam. I'm no expert on this. But I run the lunati 660 dual spring, I have a pretty big cam though. 234/245 duration 630 lift 113lsa

Those springs will work, but will require hardened push rods as opposed to stock. They do represent overkill and you will likely make a little less power than with a good set of beehive valve springs.

I do have a set of trick flow push rods so i'm good there , and a little less power is no big deal as it has a maggie on it . I will do a cam maybe next year so this is just for now .

Agreed with Darkman, will work but not ideal by a long shot.

Why not get a set of beehives for now? You can use all stock hardware, just rplace the springs and call it good till you get a cam? Even with a blower on there the beehives will be more than enough.

I dont want to replace springs twice The heads are off so I wanted to freshin things up while its apart and kill 2 birds with one stone all at once. And I dont want to do a cam at this time .

I know its not optimal guys just looking for feedback from people using it on a stock cam .

That's a good choice. Will work just fine now and if you go with a more demanding cam.
