Default SLP oil pump- What spring to run

I just got my SLP ported oil pump in, and it came with 2 springs. One is for stock pressure, the other raises the stock pressure by 5 psi OFF idle. WOuld i potentialy get a little better oiling up in the valve train if i run the higher psi spring? Or will it just bypass it all? Thanks in advance.

P.S, thanks Maryland speed for the great parts and fast shipping!!!

I choose the stock spring. No need for higher pressure IMHO,

Why is that? WOuld it not benifit from it, or does it just bypass more?

Because it increases pressure, not volume. Theres no reason to have an engine with 60 PSI oil pressure went 55 PSI is adequate. Thats just IMO

I run a Lingenfelter ported pump and left the higher output spring in it when I installed it.

I checked with a calibrated gauge and with 0w-30 Syntec I had warm idle of 70psi and under rpm just shy of 90psi.
