Yes you can, but if you are dropping the coin on some of the best beehives out there, why cheap out? Get matching titanium retainers. They will seat better and control harmonics that could result from less than perfect tolerances while using stock retainers.

I have PSI 1511ML springs and i'm using the stock retainers that came with my LS6 heads. I cheaped out to use the money towards my current build, plus the light weight valves help.

Yes you can use stock retainers. As Predator said, they're the best beehive on the planet and some titanium hardware would be icing on the cake but if you're on a budget the stock locking/retaining hardware will work fine.
