So the engine is locked up, starter wont spin it over ? You could pull the plugs and try to roll it over by hand. Does the knocking sound like rod knock ?

Hopefully was a safe tour, welcome back and thank you for your service!

Pull the dipstick and check oil level, wipe it on a white cloth and check for shiny metal. Report back w/ findings.

Did you drain the oil after it stoped spinning ? I would pull the pugs out and try to roll it over by hand with a socket wrench. If you cant move it pull the oil pan off and check the rods and main caps.

Pull the valve covers, the knocking sound might be a broken rocker or a spring. If spring/rocker is broke that would explain the no start...Probably no compression on that cylinder.

so i took the valve covers today and checked my rockers and springs and everything looked good just very dry, but as i took one of the valve covers off my back passenger side wire was not connected just barely on the wire and had acid so i dont know what kinda issues this could cause, i checked my oil and no metal chavings in it
