Anybody with ls6 cam hear a change in the "chope" at idle after installing it over the stock ls1 cam? Anybody have idle vids with ls6 cam?

Just listen to a z06, You don't hear any lope or chop.

No......It does sound a little better but not noticeable. They will not know its in there.

Just like every one here said. The LS6 cam is a very very very mild cam and only a small upgrade over a LS1 cam. The LS6 runs a 117lsa 204/218 duration. There are aftermarket sleeper cams that are a little bigger around 213/220 and 217/221 on a 115 or 116lsa that sound stock.

Friend of mine has ported/milled 243s, slp 1.85 rockers, ls6 cam, underdrive pulley, 2800 trailblazer stall, headers, borla exhaust, and 3.73s=(ZERO LOPE OR CHOP) but that car pulled on a cam only TA with a ms3. It was funny as hell to see the look on that guys face when he got that *** bust by this STOCK SOUNDING car! He quickly claimed he was spray so we popped the hood an then the look on his face after that was even worse! HE FELT LIKE ****.

If your looking for lope/chop NOT THIS CAM.
IF your looking for power with no lope/chop LOOK INTO THE CHEATR V1(from thunder racing) the cheatr v3 with headers cam be heard unless you up the idle to clear it up some but you will burn a bunch of gas!

When I got my Camaro back after the new LS-6 engine was installed, I couldn't hear or feel a difference in idling between the LS-6 and its LS-1 predecessor.
