Default where do i buy a new floating piston pin retaining ring(snap ring)

Long story short i lost a wrist pin retaining ring when i was diassembling my
LQ4 pistons. The local dealer says i have to buy a whole piston assembly fo 110 bucks to get the snap ring. I tried the auto parts store and no love there either. Any ideas on where i could get one? or if any one has a junk floating piston pin style piston and would sell me the snap rings let me know! Thank yall.

Companies like MSC Industrial Supply and Granger list a number snap rings, both internal and external as well as standard and metric. If you have the exact measurements you may be able to find a match.

I'd like to know this as well. I need a whole set of 16. I know Mahle offers them but I was looking for alternatives.

Mahle makes them. I do not remember the part # but if you search you will find it.
