Default is this going to be a good cam

good afternoon everyone, buddy of mine has a cam he got for his car and he decided he wanted to go a different route with the engine now im thinking about buying it off him and want to make sure the cam will be good for the cars setup.

i have a 2002 z28 camaro a4 has 70300 miles on it.
cam specs:
duration is 224 intake 224 exhaust

this would be installed this winter along with sending the heads out to get p/p

What is the ICL? Whatever it is I would install it on 111 LSA and 111 ICL. 2* overlap so decent chopchop with 800>850 idle.

110 ICL is not bad, good grind that will give you 42 IVC which is about perfect for street. Make sure you degree it at that ICL. Power range will be around 2000rpm to 6600rpm

Do your diff gears last, you might like the 323s you have.

Still my advice is to drive it with stock gears for awhile and make a decision afterwards. You'll find much better highway mileage and top speed with 273s.

Use good behive springs, hardened pushrods, LS2 timing chain and a LS6 oil pump. You'll be good to go.
