Default MTI R1 Cam with Spray

I'm looking for a better cam than my TR 224/224 for N2O. I'm narrowed it down to the TSP 231/237 or the MTI R1 (232/236). The lift is a little less on the R1 (I have pretty new 918 springs and would rather not change them out until I'm ready for a set of new heads, which will be next winter). The TSP 231/237 cam is pushing it IMO for lift and the 918s. However, MTI's web site ony reccomends the R1 for 383cid motors or larger. I did a searh on here, and there's not much input on the R1 (plenty on the TSP 231/237). Thanks for the input.

I would go with the R1 Jay Johnson ran 9.8s or 9.7s with that cam in his 346 with spray last year.
