Is there a way to figure out your base circle on your cam?
I have a ticking after my swap and I'm thinking its my pushrod length. I'm wondering if my cam has a smaller then stock base circle that I didn't compensate for. Is there a way to tell? I have a cam card. It's a custom grind from comp. My cam card is not with me at the moment so I thought I would ask you guys if there is a way to tell.

Well I was trying to diagnose my ticking in my brand new engine. I was trying to figure out if the wrong pushrod length could be a huge reason as to why its ticking before I buy the tool to measure. But I guess il measure next because I'm runing out of ideas.

I had the same problem with my new cam and it was the pushrod length.
I ended up having to use 7.500's on stock heads. I also wanted to find the base circle of the cam but I didn't do it. Good luck =]
