You'll most likely hear, ATI Super Damper, but I have no regrets going with a Fluidampr years ago.

Ati is the best...see them in almost every race engine...the best would be the chainless setup with an idler gear in place of the chain to keep time...jk that's expensive race spec stuff from mast for the Brazilian NASCAR series

No... ATI and slp are not even remotely close to the same..

Slp is just a shitty pulley...
ATI is an SFI damper...and is used by most NHRA teams

its not about a pulley being able to "work fine"
when you go to an underdrive pulley, you are putting a smaller pulley on the crank, and it allows more vibrations.

once you start spinning to higher rpm's, you need more vibration control, which you cant accomplish with a smaller pulley smaller pulley.

the ATI balancer is a dampener....you will see more power gains from proper balancing than you will from underdriving....to a point that most people will see more power from the ATI standard size dampener than they will from an underdrive pulley...

there's a reason the ATI pulley is $450 and the SLP is only $250

Cool, nice shows. Are you out with Abe V Systems? I did a thing or two with Jlo here in NYC, once with P-Diddy.

Yeah, you can't go wrong with the ATI.

The Fluidampr is a very good unit-it's even sold over the counter at GMPP.

However, over like 6,500 RPM, the ATI will damp the crank harmonics better. Fluidampr will even tell you this and advise you to use a ATI for higher RPM applications. Very respectful of a company to tell you to use their competitors product.

agreed.. fluidamper is a nice choice for lower rpm applications...
once you start spinning over 6500, or once you start making more than 800 flywheel horsepower....

either way, the ATI the best choice...
