Which ARP head stud kit for 2001 LS6?
Is the 234-4110 kit the correct one?
I'm reading about some "pre-2004" kit vs. 2004 and up being different? How is this possible when the 2002-2004 LS6 is the same engine.

Same engine block has differently drilled depth bolt holes. Check out kit 234-4316 For 12 point and 234-4110 for standard hex. you should need the ones with long and short 11mm studs iirc. 04 was first year of all shorts.

If your block is indeed an '01 block (long and short bolts from the factory), you can run the 134-3609 bolt kit, 234-4110 stud kit, or the 234-4316 stud kit.
We keep all of those in stock. If we can help, let us know!

Thanks Matt. Yes the motor is the original 2001 longblock. She has 123,xxx miles now and the last 4k have all been track use. I think a lifter took a **** at VIR this weekend as I have a nasty tapping now. Have to pull the heads etc.
