Default lq4 vs ly6

I have a complete lq4 out of an 02 truck that i plan to use as a conversion. The motor has 182k miles on it. I was planning on putting new gaskets on it for peice of mind before putting the motor in. I just got a ly6 that has 31k on it but has a broken block from a wreck. Is it worth it to just use the heads or change the whole rotating assembly over? Thanks for helping a newby.

LY6 has 823's. Your 02 LQ4 and Ly6 have different reluctor wheels, cam sensor, VVT as well as other changes.

If you have the talent to switch it all over, since your LQ4 has 180+k, I would do that

The lq4 has 317 casting. The ly6 has 823. The motor will have a mild cam and be na. I have a ls1 intake or a truck intake off the ly6. All my wiring and accessories are off a 2000 firebird but could probably come up with others if needed.
