Default Brute speed blower cam

I was interested in getting the brute speed blower cam and was curious of what kinda power people have been making n/a. I saw one other post on it but was just seeing if anyone else had some input.

Look up LGMotorsports G5X2 on a 114lsa. Should be extremely similar

I have that cam with ported 317's. I'm making 404hp/369tq. I'm thinking of swapping heads until I get the cash for the turbo set up

It's pretty much the same cam. It would be more fun with 4.10s but they're not a necessity. Lots recommend against the 4.10s with a blower. 3.73 are what most would recommend for the long term scenario if you do decide to go with them.

I'm going to be getting a new rear end within a year of getting the cam. Should I get gears in the stock rear for the short term or just run it?

Yeah those 317's aren't helping you at this point. Some ported 243's would. Or 799 heads off a 5.3 since they are cheaper.

anyways

assuming you already have basic bolt ons, and a 3:42- 3:73 gear at least, it should add between 45-55 rwhp with a good tune and 93.

specs are

232/240 .595 .608 115 LSA. Thats a pretty brutal cam hidden behind that docile lobe angle

Its good for a broad power band, and can be pushed to 6700-7000.
I would check to see what lobes the LG uses in comparison to the Brutespeed.
