Default Titanium Retainers

Comp told me to get their retainers (to go with their cam) at $195. Is there a better deal for an equal product out there?

All titanium retainers will be a lot more expensive than steel ones, and its worth the money. you can usually find them for 10-20 bucks cheaper at any of the sponsors here usually. Im sure you know weight plays a big part in the valvetrain, the lighter the valvetrain the faster the engine revs. I think titanium is like half the weight of steel, its only a few grams off the end of valves, but it makes a difference in adding a couple hundred more rpms before your valves float. Good Luck

I'll be getting Comp's 26918 springs at their recommendation, to go with the 772 retainers. I'm installing a mild cam, their 54-412-11.

I took JRP's advice and got the Manleys from SDPC for $178. Just did my cam install. Can't complain.
