Default Stage 2 head, how much can they be milled?

how much can I mill the heads, and run 92 gas.

Are those 5.3, 5.7, or LS6 heads? If they have not been milled already then they can be milled quite abit assuming there will be no P/V problems with that cam.

It's a hard call to make because there is a LOT more that goes into p-to-v clearance than the max lift of the camshaft. What is the duration? Duration is equally important, as is the aggressiveness of the ramp profile. If it's large duration with a very aggressive ramp profile, then it could certainly cause clearance issues. The only true way of knowing is measuring with a dial indicator. This is how we check p-to-v clearance on all of our setups.

Feel free to call or e-mail me if you have any other questions. I'm here to help.
