Default Do i need a new timing chain??

i was gonna swap my cam saw the timing chain to loose..do you think i need to upgrade??

It does look a little looser than the one in the SS i had.
All stock chains have some slack though.
If it has high miles just get it replaced, you're just an oil pump removal away now.
Btw, I replaced mine with a C5R chain which had just a little slack.

thanks ..i saw it loose ive seen loose chains but not bad like this was i got a ls2 chain right now ill just upgrade for that for now ..

Well if you're in there swapping the cam what's another $40 and half an hour of your time for a little peace of mind.
