-346 C.I. 100k mile short block
-Stock 241 heads
-Ported Fast 92/96mm TB
-Custom 239/247 .624"/.624" 110+0 camshaft on LSL lobes
-ARH 1x7/8" headers with 8" extensions off the collectors to Vibrant 3"x5" mufflers
-4" intake tubing to TB with bell mouth in front bumper connecting piping to TB
TH400 with custom 9" FTI stall(4500 on motor)
12 bolt w/ spool and 4.11's

The graph I am going to provide were done on a Dyno Jet 224xlc with 19psi of air in the 275/60 Hoosier Drag Radials.

Note the average power this cam has in the power band it's being used in...

Name: martinsdyno.jpg
Views: 14290
Size: 84.1 KB

Added this cam trapped 129mph on several occasions with the old 5900 stall and would go 105 in the 1/8th. With the nitrous stall and 10* of timing pulled and a rich *** AFR it went 99mph in the 1/8th on accident as the window switch didn't turn the nitrous relay on due to pushing a wrong button on it while changing activation RPM. I would think with full timing and proper AFR it'd go 105-106mph on motor, but the E.T. wouldn't be near as good as the old 5900 stall.

This is in my camaro that weighs 2780 empty 3010 with me in it.

It was a Dynojet dyno. Funny thing is that the owner/operator said that almost all HCI LS1's make anywhere from 390-420 rwhp on his dyno. So with that in mind i'm right in the ballpark I guess lol. I was under the impression this combo would be good for like 420-440 rwhp

I helped a buddy build an engine for his 00' Camaro Z28. Here are some specs:
LS6 short block
Flycut the pistons
Comp Custom grind 238/244 586/596 114lsa
cometic .040 head gaskets
Lingenfleter stg3. 317 heads that we had milled .060",
Professional products 96mm intake and
fast 92mm tb
asp underdrive pulley
1-3/4 pacesetter headers
3" true duals through raceline bullets
stock maf
blackwing air lid
k&n air filter
ford redtop injectors
racetronix pump and hot-wire kit
Stage 2 Tdp t56
4.10 gears
26" m/t et drags

Car was pulled up to 6300 rpm's and made 464 rwhp. After that power seemed to start dropping and we figured out it had some valve float. We swapped to a 7.350 pushrod and got 472rwhp. But, we also swapped to a 85mm slp maf.

We switched over to a 28" tall tire and lost 15rwhp.

We will be putting the intake and tb combo up for sale and switching to a victor jr single plane and 4150 tb. We'll see how it does.

401 with mac mid's and a typhoon not bad all but why not take the motor to 6500 because it looks like it was still climbing or did you get valve float?

404 and my buddy that built the motor asked the same thing. The guy I went to for the dyno tune is a Stang guy and he didn't want to push it on a stock bttm end...he laid down a good tune and its his equip who am I to argue.

Yeah dynos are crazy as you can see how much the numbers vary vs the track times.

Stock LS1 bottom end with:

SW long tube headers- bassani true duals

MTI lid- ported MAF- PP TB- LS6 intake- 28 lbs inj- Powerbond pulley

EPS 222/226 113 LSA- stock GM 243 heads- supporting valvetrain mods

Best numbers it put out were 440-443 RWHP however it did put down 488 rwhp but I think he ran the car on the wrong gear? Dyno was a dyno dynamics machine.

Either way, I'm going to re-dyno my car again when I get back in the states with a mustang dyno or a dyno jet as this guy's tune was a hack. PE and VE tables were jacked so I retuned it with my HPTuners.

The car has some other supporting mods that I guess are worth mentioning, it has a monster clutch with the 18lb flywheel, it has an ASP UD crank pulley, ported MAF, etc.
So thats about 550 at the crank? damn
