Default Do different cam lobes effect vacume?

just as the title asks. do some cam lobes produce more or less vacuum than another style of cam lobe. obviously vacuum will change with camshaft profile but what if you had two camshafts. Both cams have the same specs but are ground on different lobes. would one of these camshafts produce more vacuum than the other?

I think the difference (if any) in vacuum would be very miniscule. if you're concerned about vacuum I would look more at the valve overlap the cam has.

Very minimal at best. There are some cams that are better than others for vacuum but there is no difference that would change anything.

thanks for your answers. I completely understand that camshaft profile effects vacuum, I was just wondering if one lobe produced better vacuum than another style lobe. It was a theory question, not anything im working on just my brain thinking?

In theory if you two cams with that had the same @.050 duration, but one had slower ramp rate from @.002 to @.050 than the other (larger off base circle) the faster ramp rate cam would pull slightly better vacuum.....but I don't think it would be that big of a difference.
