Default 224r & 25% U/D installed. What will 1/4 mile gains be? 224r owners please come in

Got the cam all installed and everything went good, but the install of the pulley LOL. I got it running last night and it sounds damn good! Let it run for close to an hour with driving it around a little bit. No leaks the whole time and it ran suprisingly well. When I first started it it sat there and ran at about 600rpm and ran good. I also installed a slp 25% u/d pulley while doing the cam. Plus I will be going from a mailorder tune to a full street tune. I wonder what 1/4 mile et and mph gains I will see?

Mods before cam/pulley-
FTRA
SLP Lid
ls6 Intake
LT Headers
3" Cutout
Circle D 3400 stall

With mods above I ran 12.33@110 with a 1.80 60ft.

What you guys think? I would like to pick up .4-.5 et and gain 4-5 mph.

i really like that cam on stock heads, i wouldve used some PSI singles instead of the PRC duals though, i assume based on your prior times youre still on stock gears.. that converter should easily be able to cut low 1.7's to high 1.6's

I've never had good enuf tires to get good traction. my best 60ft was a 1.76 with 555r's. I think with perfect traction it would do just what you said (high 1.6's-low 1.7's).

Congrats on the finished install! I'd say close to .4 second and 4-5mph is feasible in the 1/4 mile!

A cam / ported tb netted me about 5 MPH and .4 - a bit of weight reduction got another .10 - overall i think the best time prior was 12.45 @ 108...after those mods the best time i ever got was 11.90 @ 115. Good luck!

I can't wait to get this thing to the track! I went out for a drive today and the top end was crazy over 110 especially. I can't usually ever feel the sotp with the mods I do, but the top end is night and day after the cam... I would love if I could gain 5mph with the cam, pulley, and tune. I want to trap 115 off the spray! Thanks again Texas Speed for the great prices and customer service!

Its a nitrous outlet plate kit. Easy to install just alot of wires you have to run through tight spots. My activation switch is mounted behind the tb blade so when I go wot it hits.

The n20 kit itself was like $400. All the extra stuff you need with it add up. I have about 1k into it now. You will need the kit and than you will need a bottle heater, timing puller, wire, window switch, pressure gauge, switches, ect.....

OP I think your goals are attainable for sure. Of course you will need to have a tune done to maximize that setup. I really can't tell you exactly what you will gain in the 1/4 mile because I've never ran the 1/4. However in the 1/8 mile I gained 4mph with the same 60'. When my car was longtubes exhaust and K&N filter it dyno'd 340/350 then after cam swap and tune it put down 407/402.

Yes I got it tuned yestureday. A guy around here that tunes all the fast lsx cars in this area street tuned it. From what I hear it should be as good as a dyno tune if not better.
