head/cam install question
How long can a H/C package sit around before you install it without getting any damage. I want to get a package now but I may not install it for a few weeks and I dont want things to get surface rust etc.
Is it ok to have the parts sit around for say 2 months? If so is there anything I should do to them to make them ok for that time period?

Can you store them inside? If so you should be okay. For what it's worth, the cam should come lubed and wrapped to protect it from rust, just re-wrap it and put it back in it's box after your done fondling it. I'm not sure how the heads will be packaged, I would just keep them dry.

Yes, that is ok, mine have been sitting waiting for my new motor to come together for about 9 monts, just spray some oil, or lubrication spray on them, and keep them in plastic bags.
