What do you use this car for? Are you looking for a max effort package? You have asked a pretty broad question so its tough to answer at the moment. Give us some more info and we can get something for ya.

It's mainly a weekend/track car, but it does see the street alittle bit. I want a cam with a good chop but that's also nitrous friendly. Power band from 3,500 up I'm not afraid to rev the car. Thanks hope that helps a little bit

Im wanting a cam that has a good chop ad power band but also nitrous friendly, I figure that i can get the cam picked out and then choose a set of heads that will benifit the cam. I dont know what to look for in the cam specs thats going to tell me that its going chop hard and be nitrous freindly,Thanks

I would recommend you look at our PRC 227 heads and cam combo. If you aren't afraid of a little RPM I would go ahead and also recommend our MS4 camshaft. With the proper bolt ons this package has made some pretty good power for us. Obviously its not meant for daily driving but if its only a weekend car I feel like with a good tune there is more then enough drivability. Keep in mind this is a max effort setup. We can step down on cam a little for more drivability if you want.

What Is the power band of the ms4 andis it friendly with nitrous? With the prc heads and ms4 cam combo will I need to upgrade to a fast intake? Also would going with 3.73 or 4.11's from 3.42's help or hurt me? Thanks

Going to some 4.11s would be a good call with that kind of package as well as the FAST intake. I would not say the FAST is required but it will definitely help maximize the package. I would expect to see the majority of the MS4's power between 3000-7000 RPM, it will peak around 6400-6500 RPM so we set rev limiters around 6800.

We usually don't spec towards nitrous until you are spraying more then a 200 shot, until then cam really doesn't matter much. The mS4 will deal with nitrous with no problem. Ideally the 102 would make the most power but we aren't talking about a huge difference with the 92mm. If you can afford everything needed for the 102 I would get it.

The 227s are definitely better then the 5.3 heads. They feature a larger valve, laid over valve angle and thicker deck. They also move a notable amount more air because of the port and larger valve size. While the 5.3l heads are good, the 227s are much better. If you can afford them I would try and grab them. We also offer an as cast version of them that will save you a little money if you want, but obviously they don't flow as much since they aren't ported.
