Default how driveable is the trex cam

How is the driveability on the "trex" cam from thunder racing? How is it in traffic, cruising, going down the road? I no that it is not for a daily driver but how does it drive around town?

i only drove mine around the block and in the parking lot a little, and it seemed ok after a little tuning to get it to idle.

low end power is sloppy, but once it hit the 4000 stall, it sounded like a prostock!

That cam sounds bad a$$, just wondering did u use Ls1 edit for the tune? I have heard some places can do a mail order on your PCM with a quick turn around time, not sure where to get it done though nor the cost. The reason Im asking is in the next week I will be placing an order on one my self.

yea, we used edit to tune it, it takes some work. i started with my tr224 tune and it didnt like that, so i went back to my stock tune and worked from there and it was better. still needs a little more work, after i get the heads back on it, i will mess with it more.

I tuned an A4 over the weekend with a 4400 stall. It actually idled before tuning. I did not even drill out the TB blade. Just tweaked the lower VE table a bit and raised the idle to 850 and it idled fine. WOT tuning was easy, but the car (a 1998) has a nasty stumble at part throttle around 3000-3200 rpm. I thought it was a dirty MAF, but after cleaning it still stumbled badly. Not related to the cam though. Believe it is electrical in nature (bad coil or something).
