Default Couple questions

First off I just cut 0.020" off my "706" heads. do I need to put corresponding shims under rockers to compensate?
Next Im going to upgrade camshaft to LS2 trailblazer cam, will it work on my 2005 5.3L or is the sensor in wrong spot?
any answers will be much appreciated
thanks

No you would not shim the rockers for this, if anything you might need to change pushrod length but that needs to be measured. Someone please correct me if I am wrong but I do not think that cam will work in that motor because of the cam sensor being in the wrong place. The cam doesn't have the reluctor on the back of it for your cam sensor to get a reading off of it.
