Comp Cam High Energy Lifters
Few years back I installed these lifters in my at that time cam only car, I have since stroked the car to a 383, with H/C/I. Over this coming winter I have to tear down the engine (ring issues) and I am wondering if I should swap these out..theres prob about 20,000km on them now aswell.
If you think I should change them what should I go with?

I use those on just about every aftermarket build I do. Since I am not an advocate of 7k rpm shifts, they have always served me faithfully. Regarding yours, I would inspect them carefully and take some measurements to check them but 20k miles, they should be fine. I have a set that has 78k miles on them on a .612 lift/ stock stainless valve with no issues at all. Pay attention to the retaining tray cups, those can be more likely to wear faster.

The cam I/m using is a 230/236 .595/.612 114, and I take it up to 6700-6800rpm..just because I was 100% clear above these are not the comp R's, just the high energy lifters...still ok?
