Would you rather have I or H beams rods and Y.

If I remember correctly, H Beams are better for compressive loads(forced induction). I beams are better for tensile loads (high rpm N/A motors) .

I'd rather have H-Beams. I read a big comparo on the two a while back, but all I can remember is I'd rather have the H. I'd imagine an H is a lot stronger since the whole width of the rod is as thick as the rod, unlike an I. It just seems like it'd be a lot less vulnerable to twisting and bending in any direction.

H beams are fine for lower rpm, to around 6K After that the "load" changes on the rod and I beams are stronger.
