Default will this cam fit with standard heads...

so ive brought this cam shaft valve springs i have faced some heads 030 standard everything except the facing of heads and valve springs, the cam specs are 236/242 .612 .612 113 will they fit the faced heads? i would assume that if they fit faced heads they will fit standard?

i forgot to add the reason i posted this is because i have it all ready and someone has turned around and said valves and pistons will clash now

I don't think it will clear. Thats a big cam, if heads hadn't been milled, possibly. No chance I don't think..

I have a set of unmilled heads on the motor in the car, if the lift is to much I will just buy a slightly smaller one

Duration determines clearance, not lift.

In all honesty, the only way to know is to check yourself. Nobody can tell you because every setup is different. Every engine is different to some degree, even in stock form. You could put that cam in your engine and have it clear, and the next guy could put it in the same engine and crash every valve.

When it comes to things like this, relying on the internet for a definite answer is not going to help.

There are some cams out there that will clear by a mile is just about any engine, but this is not one of those cams.

Oh sweet thanks I will stick it in check clearance i Rkn I might be able change cam timing slightly if need be, I will let yas all know when is in and tuned

Stok untouched heads with stock gasket, it should clear. Milled, no way
