Default Camshaft for Magnacharger

2003 Z06
Full exhaust
Magnacharger

Im looking to do a valvetrain/camshaft upgrade (springs, retainers, rockers, cam, etc)

Was wondering if someone could give me suggestions on cam specs. I've read that 243 heads dont perform much above .575 lift so I think this is a good range to shoot for. Or will that change because i have boost? Any support would be apprectiated.

We have a 224/228 .581/.588 114 LSA cam that has done well with superchargers. I feel the main thing with magnachargers is to try and spread out the power band as much as possible. They make lots of low end but kind of give up a little on top. That cam will have a very broad powerband with a solid pull up top. We offer our cam package with dual springs, retainers, seat, seals and push rods for $739.99.

114 LSA will have less overlap and also help push the power band up some. You want to try and avoid overlap on boosted cams because it will bleed off boost.

Use the GM factory LS9 ZR1 camshaft. Lingenfelter used something really similar for a long time in their Mangacharged packages, but now you can get pretty much the same cam from GM for like $130. It's a 211/230 .558/.552 122 LSA cam and is designed to work with positive displacement blowers.

That is not totally true! For true street applications and low boost levels you can safely go up to 6* positive overlap without much adverse effect.
Also where the overlap occurs in the cam makes a difference.
Cam I've used on 346 maggie setup with great success and like is:

224/230 .581/.590 112+2 LSA
