Default Torque Wrench for installing heads

Just curious for when i reinstall my heads later next week. I have a 3/8 craftsman torque wrench. Goes up to 75lb max. Will i need a bigger torque wrench (like a 1/2") to do a head install job or should i be good with my 3/8?

you should be good but mark the bolts for when you do the final torque to do it correctly and almost precisely exact

Cylinder Head Bolts (First Pass all M11 Bolts in Sequence) 22 lb ft
Cylinder Head Bolts (Second Pass all M11 Bolts in Sequence) 90 degrees
Cylinder Head Bolts (Final Pass all M11 Bolts in Sequence-Excluding the Medium Length Bolts at the Front and Rear of Each Cylinder Head) 90 degrees
Cylinder Head Bolts (Final Pass M11 Medium Length Bolts at the Front and Rear of Each Cylinder Head in Sequence) 50 degrees
Cylinder Head Bolts (M8 Inner Bolts in Sequence) 22 lb ft

Yea should be fine as long as the bolts look like they are in good shape, they are not single use TTY bolts like the GM ones. SDPC has them at a great price new.

I used a craftsman 1/2" Tq Wrench 25-150ftlbs. It not good practice to use the upper/lower limits of a torque wrench.
