So im planning on runing a torquer v3 cam with my car (in sig) i was looking at geting either prc stage 2.5 ls6 heads or patriot stage 2 ls6 heads. The prc heads are $300 more just wondering if its worth the extra cost.

maybe look at the PRC st 1 heads with needed springs.

The 2.5's come with .650 lift springs which you'll need, and better valves for $100 more than the Stage 1's. I have the same setup your looking at....got a little over 100rwhp with a FAST 92 on the same dyno.

the patriots come with dual springs as well

I think Patriot had a bad set of castings a while back and that stuck with them as being a low quality head. I went with TSP because they help a lot on this site with members problems, but if money is tight the Patriots are probably fine. I'd just make sure they use quality valves etc, as I don't know much about them.

I am a little biased but I definitely recommend the PRC 2.5 LS6 heads. We have put a lot of work into our LS6 port over the years and I think it shows. We can also make sure the heads are specifically milled for that cam if you want.
