bought an ls1 that needs some refreshing advice plez bought an ls1 that hasnt started in 2 years and has the oil drained. im used to the ls1 motor far as working on it and modding just looking for some advice on what i should be looking for in a motor that hasnt started in 2 years. the "red flags" if you could call it that lol. also things i should do to refresh the motor. its all stock from a 00 z06 corvette and has the gm hotcam in it.

If it were mine, I would make sure that you can at least turn it over by hand fairly easy.
