241 vs 243 heads with big cam I have a 2001 ls1 with stock 243s and the trex cam would it be worth while to have my 241s sent off or find some 243s and have them sent off with my limited ptv clearance? I guess my main question is would there be a difference once they have been ported? My main concern still being ptv clearance and I want to stay with a stock casting to stay "cam only". I do not want to flycut but will do if need be

Do you mean you have 241's currently? You will see gains with either casting from AI but you have more potential with the 243's
As far as clearance, just don't have them milled or make it very minimal <.010
