Default Head/intake swap, now won't start. Backfiring like crazy

Just swapped to Patriot 59cc heads and LS6 intake now car won't start. It is backfiring through the exhaust and intake. This has got me pretty scared, I'm afraid something is badly wrong. Never heard of one of these backfiring through intake, anyone got anything??

This would seem quite obvious but ill ask anyway, did you happen to check the firing order to make sure nothing was mixed? With the spark plugs out can you turn it over without a problem? What is the timing set at?

Check to be sure you put on and plugged in your coils banks right....maybe flipped them or plugged the left into the right or vise versa?

Well, when I took the value covers off, I simply laid gem on the side of the car they went back on. When coils came off, I labeled them on what cylinder..

As far as putting the connection for the coils in, I possibly could have flipped them upside down. May should check that out he that sounds like it could be the problem.

Motor rolled freely before plugs, no idea what timing is on, same as cam only tune. 224/230

I had the same problem one time and it was the coil pack wiring harness,it was flipped around backwards. Check the small tags on the wiring harness they are labeled.

Looking at my coil harness from top of motor, the main connection is branching off the coil connector on the 3rd cylinder back from front on driver side, 2nd cylinder back on passenger.
