Default which valve springs to choose?

Which valve springs would you guys recommend? Im running a 228r cam .588 lift
I was going to get PAC 1218 but i ran across these Brian Tooley valve springs in another thread. I mean those are even cheaper than the PAC springs and have great reviews..
Would i be able to use the stock retainers and locks with them?

BTR springs are all duals from what I can see. No duals will work with stock retainers.

I can't speak for the other springs, but when I had a 228r I ran the PAC 1218 springs without any problems. And they work with the stock retainers.

Even if you could use stock retainers with them I wouldn't.

Brian's stuff is lighter than any other retainer package on the market for LS engines.
