Default Cam choice for 5.3 Carb in a light car

Well I've been on here asking about my fox body and picked it up today the car is

Car is

AJE K-member with A-Arms
Flaming River Manual rack
Coil over conversion
Steed Outer Tie rods w/ bump steer
Harwood 6'
8 point cage
Strange adjustable rear shocks
8.8 with 3.73 Ford racing gears
Welds

The Motor I got is a 5.3 out of a 2008 Suburban with 243 heads going to go carb with a Vic Jr and doing it cam only so now the question is what cam to go with I've seen the MS3/TH400 mustang on here but not sure if that cam is the best with the 243 heads or I can go more with those or less and will be an all out drag car with almost no street time so I want to build it for the track what do you guys think??

I've seen some good test results with the comp came lsr series cams for 5.3....when choosing you want a lower lsa like 110-112 since you are carbed...

I'd suggest calling EPS for something in the 230-238 range.....

Just worked out a spec for a friend of mines bracket racing S10.... 5400 stall, Glide with 4.10's...

228/234@ .050 on a 109+4 is the first one we are gonna try.

Aiming for a 6500-6700 shift point and the ability to zerox timeslips.

I'm kind of stuck on what Intake I should go with having the stock 243s and the Stock bottom end though to stick with the Vic Jr or go for the RPM

I had Martin @ Tick performance spec a custom cam for my carb'd 5.3 setup....(Awesome guy to deal with)

Just to give you an idea my specs are 231/240 617/589 112+4 lsa, should work very well with my setup!
