I had the best luck with the one from Advance... Comes in a big plastic box. I struggled with 2 different ones from Autozone for a few hours before throwing in the towel and going someplace else. The one from Advance had it off in 3 minutes.

Best of luck

Autozone 3 jaw puller works like a charm, although at first I was trying to pull from the outside of the pulley like a tard, the three notches on the inner hub of the crank pulley fit perfect with 3 jaw puller...just make sure you get the "big" 3 jaw and not the small one bc they have two different ones

If the autozone puller doesn't work for you, it doesn't work for you. No amount of re-trying will get it to work. I used this on my LS2 after breaking 3 rented pullers. Came off like a knife through butter:

Make sure you are pulling the pulley from the inside hub and not the outside!

Autozone sucks... warning you now. I broke the small and lasrge one from there, and that's when it wasn't slipping off. Go to Advance

Ok cool I got another question for u guys !! I got a 5.3 lm7 and when I was taking my intake off and I broke a sensor? I'm not sure what it is but it's to the right of the Camhaft position sensor. It has a 1 or 2 prong plug-in and the top of the sensor and it's plastic ( best way I can describe it )

There ya go...they also got a gm 1-1 1/4 oil pressure sensor socket even though you really don't need it if you have a deep well socket...
