Default Mast ls3 style heads for ls1???

Hey guys wondering if any one has used or seen these heads in use and if any one has any useful information on them, I'm running a 383 stroker ( with standard heads ) and 11.5:1 comp and I think my heads and intake are holding me back ATM

The good thing about these heads is, it allows the use of an ls3 intake. You can get cathedral port heads that flow just as well cheaper, but your limited to the ls6 intake or a fast. The ls3 intake falls in between these two.

You really should consider staying cathedral. Keep in mind lots of guys report power gains swapping to cathedral heads from ls3 heads. Those guys are always on a bigger bore than what your running. I just can't imagine a scenario where a ls3 head could touch the power of something like the prc 227s on your smaller bore.

The OPs link doesn't work...but I thought MAST has a LS3 head for small
bore engines (3.90)
I also agree that for any true street car you can get a more balanced
powerband from a properly sized cathedral runner on under 400"
engines.
