Default ls1 cylinder bore question

While I've got my shortblock apart I'm measuring my cylinder bores for wear. I've got some questions about some of the tolerances.

I printed out the stickied spec sheet, and have the taper spec for the "thrust side" of the bore - is the thrust side the direction of the bore perpendicular to the length of the block? (i.e. from the side, pointing towards the crank). Also, is there an out-of-roundness spec for the bores? I'm going to take my measurements again with a better indicator and with the heads/main caps torqued down, but right now in its relaxed state, it looks like my max o-o-R ranges from 0.001-0.002" cylinder to cylinder. Does anyone happen to know what is acceptable before a rebore and/or rehone is necessary?

The cylinder head is going to change the bore dimensions. You may be able to torque the head on and drop the bore gauge in from the bottom.
