Default 28.8 injectors top out @ xxxxxx

How much power have people made on the stock 03 injectors before
needing to upgrade to 36 or 42 lb. ers ?????
Seems I've heard in the 400-430 range but SAE vs STD can skew that a bit.
Just trying to plan for a potential upgrade......

400rwhp is a good time you should be looking to upgrade. in general you dont want to run your injectors past 80% duty

Yeah, for piece of mind I'd look at some FIC 42lbs once you got up over 420rwhp. They are 239 and are flow matched.

I was hitting in the 90% range with 230/224 cam, headers, FAST 90mm. Computer estimates based on track times put that at ~370rwhp through the auto/12 bolt.

Once I went 230/238 cam with mildly worked 799s (estimated 400-410rwhp through the auto), I was over 100% DC by ~5000rpm. I got GM supercharged 3800 injectors on ebay for around $100. They are 41.5# at ls1 fuel psi.

Since I plan to max at about 420ish would a Ford red top or LS2 36 lb be more
in line with my power level...considering 42s are good to what 500ish ???/

Plug and play. I switched them out then adjusted the flow rate table in the tune and then did a touch up tune on the VE and MAF. Been that way for a year now.

They look just like ls1 injectors except they are white. I was told GM does sell other white ones so look up the part number and buy based on that, not color.
