Default 90mm maf?

I'm looking for a maf setup that will work well with my 90mm tb.

Card maf? Or housing maf?

You can buy all the parts to make a 100 mm maf for reasonably cheap.

Do a search on ls7 style maf.

The maf itself is 50 something, the adapter pig tail is like 20 something, and the block to mount the maf in a 4 inch tube is like 15. You just need a 4 inch aluminum tube and someone to tig it.

I thought the 85mm MAF actually had an ID of 90mm? I saw that in a post in the Gen III External section some time ago...I think a rep from FTP posted it.

Talk to your tuner before choosing or porting a MAF.

MAFs accuracy is highly dependent on the plumbing it is installed in and porting requires recalibration in the pcm.

Is that using the ls7 style maf? I thought the air intake sensor was integrated into it?

I heard something about the length of straight tubing and Tue distance from the tb. Like no less than 4" of straight tube and no closer than 10" from Tb. Though that seems wrong considering 90% of intakes aren't built like that.

Yeah. You have the bung/mounting plate welded to the 4" pipe. If I'm not mistaken the ls7 maf has a iat built into it.
