LQ4/9 part numbers I searched and came up with two part numbers. GM perfomance parts lists a 12572808. My dealer says he cannot get this block. With some more digging I came up with a 12609999. SDparts lists this as a LQ9/4 block and my dealer can get this part#.
Does anyone know the difference between the two? The 12572808 goes for $750 and the 12609999 goes for $1000. I was thinking one is a brand new casting and the other is a remanufactured unit.
