Default Tapping sound on right head...

So today I was driving back home from work, when suddenly I notice a tap coming from the motor. So I stop at a nearby gas station, and open the hood and the tapping was coming from the passenger side head, I removed the oil cap and there was a yellow foam on the bottom of it. I then checked the oil but looked clean. The car drives normal doesn't smoke or anything.
i will check better tomorrow since this barely happen. I was wondering could the tapping be a header gasket that blew and the foamy thing be condensation?
My car is a full bolt on cammed car mods are in sig.

looks like you have condensation build up. Do you let the car run and warm up or just make short trips in it?

If you're worry about a coolant leak you have a couple of options.

Pressure check the radiator or compression check of the cylinders.

Quickest way is to see if you oil looks like chocolate milk. <<<Major leak

I agree with smws6ta there, that looks like the car has made a few too many short trips to me. If a vehicle does not get up to temp on a regular basis, that is exactly what you will find under the oil cap. Every time your car cools, the air volume in the pan area will hit the dew point at some point. When this happens water collects on the pan walls and all areas of the engine internals that are holding any volume of air. Then you start the car and all that moisture gets pulled into the pan. On short trips the water vapour is then forced to the top of the engine, and does not have time to dissipate, collecting on the oil cap. This is, as far as I know, the reason you would change the oil in your car every 4 months regardless of mileage on the oil as well

ouch on the gasket... sucks man. Ive seen the same thing thousands of times on cars up here and it's usually not a problem unless you find a head gasket gone
