Default 0 oil pressure... NEED HELP FAST!!!!

I just got done installing a heads and cam on my car. It ran great the first couple days but now I have zero oil pressure after I replaced the intake gaskets. I put a new sensor in and still nothing...

2000 ls1 short block with 45k miles
Tea 5.3l stage 2.5 heads (58cc)
Street sweeper hr cam 228/232 610/602 111lsa
Lingenfelter intake
Ls2 timing chan
Ls7 lifters and ls2 tray
Tsp 7.4 pushrods
Meiling m296 oil pump
Arp bolts and MLS head gaskets.
Fresh oil and filter, brand new oil sensor.

So like I said at first start up it had like 65psi and about 45psi when warmed up. It wouldn't idle below 3k cuz of a bad vacuem leak from a torn intake gasket. Fixed ye gasket and Now I don't have any pressure. When I turn the car off the gauge starts to climb to about 20psi then goes back down. Only thing left I can thinknk of is o ring or the pump took a **** already. But is there something I'm missing before I tear into it agian.

Please help I would like to be able to drive my car.

Did you notice any abnormal wear on the cam bearings? Did you damage them, maybe upon stock cam, removal? In the LS engines the cam bearings are the first to recieve oil. I know you only have 45K miles but it's a thought.

It could be an o-ring issue, I've heard many issues end here. It sucks that it's all back together.

The high rpm is what made your oil pressure look ok during the vacuum leak start. I would still think 3K rpm would remain higher than 45 after warm up, but I don't know for sure.

I haven't made it this far on my build yet, but I've heard many oil pressure issues coming from these two sources. Good luck with the issue.

Bearings looked good. Didn't see any major wear. Well if I rev it up now it doesn't change at all. stays at zero.

Anyway to inspect the pump? If it ends up being bad can I use my stock one? Held 50psi and I don't see any cracks our chips in it? Just saying if worst comes to worst.???

It's probably an O-ring issue... Like Tainted said, check the pump, o-ring. (Tainted would have to elaborate on the oil galley plug as I don't see how it would cause an issue if it wasn't messed with. Could the oil passages be dirty? Only 45K miles though...Hmmm I don’t' know, I'm to new to the LS1's know what to do with that one)

You bought the oil pump new right? Look at the instructions. Mine (SLP) came with two different springs and two different o-rings I believe. I haven't assembled it yet but it states clearly in the directions. Using the old one I'm sure would suffice (I think), but you run the risk of failure with it as well.

I would get a mechanical guage and check it before you start to tear into it.

It shouldnt move...did you pyhically check for pressure? Like turn the car over with a mechanical gauge in the hole? Or just to see if the oil is coming out? (makes a big mess) (oriellys may have the metric adapter on the shelf)

What do you mean oil is coming out? Like pull the filter and turn it over and see if it squirts (haha)

Do yourself a favor and cut open your oil filter. Make sure there is no fine metal dust or bearing pieces. I did heads/cam swap on my SSS and it drove fine for 2 weeks with great oil pressure. Went to go to lunch, no oil pressure. O-ring and pump were good.
