How much can you mill before intake issues?

How much can you mill before intake issues? I've been searching, but I suck at it. Looking to see how far I can knock down a set of 243's before I start running into intake fitment issues. Is there a ratio of decking the block side: decking the intake side? I want to get in the 12:1 range with a lq9 stock bore. I realize I'll probably have to flycut.
