Default Comp XR269HR-114 for 5.3 questions

Working on a trade deal for a good used cam. It's the comp xr269hr-114 which has specs of 216/220 0.525 int./0.532 exh on a 114 lsa. Listed with a power range of 1600-6300rpm.

I will either be selling it or I am also thinking about putting it in my truck but am unsure because I will not be doing a converter and no longtubes are in the near future. I don't beat on the truck but I do prefer the sound of a cammed engine since the stock cam makes it sound like a boat even with dual exhaust. It might give a little HP bump over the stock cam which would also be a plus but I wouldn't expect much with it being restricted by manifolds.

It's a small cam so it might be ok. Would this cam work with ls6 springs with the low lift or are the ramp rates too high for those springs?

That'd work good even with stock manifolds in the 5.3 and stock stall (I would think).

Should work ok , keep in mind that hp numbers with suffer through those stock manifolds but if you check out performancetrucks.net you'll see alot of guys run that with stock stall and ls6 springs
