Default Stupid Question: Bolt Reuse?

Hey guys im building my first LS engine and was wondering if i can reuse most of my bolts? I have purchased a short block with head studs so i was wondering if i can reuse my intake bolts, front and rear cover bolts, bell housing bolts, water pump bolts, ect. If not can someone tell me where i can purchase a kit of these bolts. Thanks in advance.

The bolts you just mentioned are fine to reuse.

The only ones that are one and done are the crank pulley bolt and the head bolts I believe

Yep, the reason you can not reuse the crank bolt and head bolts are because they have to be torqued down so much that it "stretches" the threads.... in turn when they get put back in they tend to back out. FYI

Main and rod bolts are also torque to yield and should be one use only but people have said they've reused them

DMracing sells some damn nice stainless steel bolts as a set for a really good price. I have replaced almost every single bolt (less 100+mm bolts) on my long block.

If I can spend 4K on a short block, I can spend some money on some nice bolts.

Thanks for all ur input the new motor will be a forged 408. So what bolts other than head and crank bolt are one time use that are not found in a short block sinse i purchased a assembled short block. Also on head studs do i have to torque the studs in the block or put them in finger tight?
