Default Volant Air Intake question

SO! I just got my volant intake in today, absolute pain in the *** to get the coupler on correctly, but needles to say it is done! Looks great, love the setup, certainly a gain after switch from stock intake. My question is it came with a breather filter on side of the heatshield, and nothing was hooked up to the previous setup, so my question is, WHERE is this hidden tube, and most importantly, is it WORTH installing onto this setup. All information is helpful, im here to learn

You are probably referring to the AIR breather cap, later model cars did away with it, you dont need it. It was part of the emissions system, it runs to a canister under the fender.

Depends on what year it is, I believe that 01-02 need it. It runs to the smog pump. If your car did not have a hose hooked to the lid then you don't need it with the new setup.
